Jarrod Belcher is MTPConnect’s Director – Partnerships. He joined MTPConnect in 2020 as Director of the Researcher Exchange And Development Within Industry (REDI) Initiative, which identified skills gaps impacting Australia’s life sciences sector and deployed programs to close these skills gaps delivering REDI-funded training and education programs to over 8,400 people during a 3.5 year timeframe. Previously, Jarrod held roles developing and building partnerships throughout Australia and internationally with corporate, government and NGO partners. He has been instrumental in developing MTPConnect’s relationship with Korean Health Industry Development Institute (KHIDI) and is currently focused on developing other key relationships to benefit the Australian life sciences sector. Jarrod has a background in the biosciences and education and training, with a BSc in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from the University of Melbourne, and postgraduate qualifications in training, education and competitive manufacturing.
